Military convoys are scheduled to convoy from Pohakuloa Training Area to Keaukaha Military Reservation, in Hilo and Kawaihae Harbor Tuesday and Wednesday.
The anticipated convoy times to Hilo are from 12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m., and to Kawaihae from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Hilo convoys will use the New Saddle Road, ak.a. Daniel K. Inouye Highway, Puainako Extension Route 2000, Komohana Street, West Puainako Street, Kanoelehua Avenue (Highway 11), and Hilo Airport Road.
Kawaihae convoys will use the New Saddle Road, Mamalahoa Highway (Highway 190), Waikoloa Road, Queen
Kaahumanu Highway (Highway 190), and Akoni Pule Highway (Highway 270).
Motorists are advised to be alert and drive with care. Convoys will have yellow flashing lights and convoy signs.
